Hockey: China must thank Inner Mongolia for World Cup debut

Of the 34 provinces in China, Inner Mongolia is the hotbed of hockey. The tribe called 'Daur' have historically played the traditional form of hockey called 'Beikou'. All the players in China's World Cup team are from this province and from the same club. China is in Pool B alongside world No. 1 and defending champions Australia, England and Ireland.
