At 8°C, 2nd coldest day for city on Thursday

Temperatures might go further south over the next four days, according to the forecast of the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Ahmedabad recorded 8°C, making Thursday the second coldest day in a decade. In the winter of 2014, mercury had plunged to 7.4°C; and in 2015, the lowest temperature was 8°C, tying with the lowest temperature of the current year.
