Biting cold: PIL seeks shelter for homeless

Gujarat high court on Thursday issued notice to the state government and all municipal corporations in the state over a public interest litigation (PIL) complaining about inadequate night shelters and demanding that the homeless be given shelter in public buildings during winters in absence of enough space in night shelters.
