A discussion on values and ethics held at Amity University

In order to draw the attention of students towards the importance of values and ethics in one's life, Amity Human Values Quarter - 2019 ( AHVQ) organized a panel discussion on the theme - Changing dimensions of Values and Ethics in the Contemporary Society today at Amity University, Noida. Venerable Thong Nien, a Theravada Buddhist Nun, discussed the various principles of Buddhism. While Ms. Neera Mishra, Chairperson, Draupati Trust, asserted that our values and ethics have been derived from the Vedic era and we must respect them. Giving an insight about the cultural shift, Dr. Smita Sahgal, Associate Professor, Department of History, Lady Shri Ram College expressed that there is a need to introspect our action and deeds.
