Local body poll notification likely in Dec first wk

The state election commission is expected to issue notification for the conduct of local body polls in the first week of December and hold the polls by month-end, said sources. The commission is racing against time, interacting with collectors and undertaking first-level checking of electronic voting machines across the state.
