98.2% samples clear test, says Delhi Jal Board

Delhi Jal Board announced on Wednesday that it had concluded a comprehensive water-testing process after lifting samples from across the city. It claimed that the results showed that Delhi’s water was fit for drinking. Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan had alleged that the quality of water was poor in most parts of Delhi. This had sparked a war of words between BJP and AAP, prompting DJB to initiate the 10-day-long process in which its representatives collected five samples from each municipal ward.
