Kutch emerges as Gujarat's flamingo hub

Nalsarovar and Kutch in Gujarat provide a safe haven to as many as 12 lakh birds, estimates drawn at the recently concluded bird count in these two regions reveal. Of these, about 5.5 lakh birds are from the flamingo family which includes three lakh newborns, the census figures show.
