Surat: Gold dust worth Rs 1.4 crore stolen

Three unidentified persons were booked at Varachha police station for stealing 4.4kg gold dust worth Rs1.42 crore from a gold and diamond jewellery unit in the city on Saturday. Police suspect role of an insider in the theft since only he would know where the gold dust was being collected.
