Telangana may hike retirement age of govt staff

The state government is likely to implement chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s promise of increasing the retirement age of government employees from April 1. Though the chief minister made the promise to increase the retirement age from 58 to 61 years during his campaign in the 2018 Assembly elections, it has not been implemented even 14-months after TRS government coming into office for second term.
