TN budget: Rs 1.3cr allotted for river restoration

Concerned at the amount of raw sewage flowing into the city’s three main water bodies, the government in its budget presented on Friday allocated Rs 1,370 crore for river restoration that will mainly focus on cleaning up the various drains.
