Woman kidnapped, shot dead in Navi Mumbai

A 55-year-old woman who was waiting for her husband in her car outside a Navi Mumbai bank was kidnapped and shot dead in the vehicle on Monday afternoon. The sedan with Prabhawati Bhagat's body inside was found in a construction area, around 1.5km from Maharashtra Bank's branch in sector-19, Ulwe, where she was last seen by her husband, Balkrishna Bhagat (62), a retired employee of Mazgaon dock.
