Chennai: Milder cases to be sent to ‘care centres’

In about three weeks time, patients with ‘milder’ cases of Covid-19 will not be sent to the government hospitals for intensive care. Instead they would be sent to a facility at either Communicable Diseases Hospital in Tondiarpet or any of the corporation-run schools converted into special ‘Covid care centres’.
