6,972 Covid cases in TN; docs, nurses test +ve

Hospitals in Tamil Nadu’s districts continued to be crowded and more doctors and nurses were sent on isolation as the state reported 6,972 Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, pushing the total tally to 2,27,688.
