K'taka: 3rd day of 5,000+ cases, tally nears 1L

With a 24-hour spike of more than 5,000 Covid-19 cases for the third time a row, Karnataka is inching close to a caseload of 1 lakh cases. The state also reported 72 deaths on Saturday, taking the total toll to 1,796.
