1/3rd of Covid deaths in 24 hrs of hospitalisation

Karnataka has reported 56% of its Covid-19 deaths in the 25 days of August and an analysis of hospitalisation and death data shows that a third of these patients died on the very day they were admitted or the next day. Another 4.5% died before receiving any treatment, either at home or before reaching hospital.
