Karnataka may table bill today to up BBMP wards

With four days remaining of the ongoing session, the Karnataka government is rushing to table the BBMP bill, which seeks to bring in a separate law exclusively for Bengaluru city’s governance, on Wednesday in a bid to defer the BBMP elections slated to be held in December.
