25% of govt land in Karnataka encroached: Data

Nearly a quarter of more than 61lakh acres of government land in Karnataka is encroached upon, prompting the Karnataka Public Lands Corporation (KPLC), the nodal agency for public land-related matters in the state, to write to all deputy commissioners and secretaries in charge of districts to take action.
