Covid: Mumbai 1st city to cross 10,000 deaths

227 days after the first Covid19 case was reported in Mumbai, the city crossed the grim milestone of 10,000 deaths. Mumbai now accounts for nearly 8.5% of all deaths in India and a quarter of those in the state.
