Problems faced by commuters on Delhi roads

On October 17 last year, Delhi government announced that all potholes on roads managed by PWD would be filled in by the following day. A year later, the electoral promise of world-class roads, at par with those in European and American cities, remains unfulfilled. PWD’s internal survey has noted at least 1,205 potholed stretches across the city, many of them affecting traffic movement as well as posing a threat to commuters’ safety.
