Share of farm fires in Delhi’s bad air at 17%

This season’s highest single-day fire count was recorded on Saturday with 1,230 incidents of stubble burning taking place in the neighbouring states. However, the contribution of stubble burning to Delhi’s air reduced to 17% on Sunday compared with 19% the day before, System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) data showed.
