K'taka: 19% mothers-to-be in serosurvey infected

Pregnant women going to hospitals for regular antenatal checkups are among the most vulnerable to contract the Covid-19 infection. Gynaecologists, however, say though pregnant women are susceptible to contract the virus, there isn’t much risk involved. Covid infection has not affected pregnancies so far but the matter requires further research, they say.
