Asst civic chief to pay KEM Rs 1L for ‘contempt’

Pulled up by Bombay high court for breach of its order to personally hear the owner of Lalit Restaurant & Bar at Dhobi Talao before passing a demolition order, the assistant municipal commissioner of C ward apologised and agreed to pay Rs 1 lakh fine towards KEM Hospital’s poor patients’ fund.
