Coronation Park in Delhi awaits revamp

The revamp of the Central Vista may mark a move away from colonial culture for Delhi, but there is another spot of British pomp that may yet preserve the city’s historical pedigree. It is Coronation Park in north Delhi’s Burari, the site of royal durbars and the location from where the transfer of the British India’s capital from Calcutta to Delhi was pronounced in 1911.
