Memories of last year’s bitterly cold December returned to haunt Delhiites as both maximum and minimum temperatures plunged five notches below normal on Tuesday, leading to “cold day” as well as “cold wave” conditions in NCR as icy northwesterly winds from snow-clad hills swept the region.
