Maha relief for owners of collector's land

The state revenue department on Thursday revoked its orders staying the conversion of occupancy class-II lands to freehold. Occupancy class–II lands are commonly known as collector’s land as they require prior permission from the collector for transfer. Freehold means the ownership lies with the occupants who can use the land in any manner in accordance with local regulations.
