Covid +ve cases in Maha 26.6k, Mumbai 1.4k in 24 hrs

The state has recorded nearly 20,000 confirmed Covid deaths in May, making it one of the deadliest months since the start of the pandemic. On Sunday, with the addition of 726 previous deaths (those that occurred earlier in the month) along with 594 recorded over the last 48 hours, took May’s mortality numbers to 19,807. The state’s cumulative death toll has now touched 88,620.
