Delhi: 242% rise in registered Apr deaths from last yr

The comparison of death registration data for April 2020 and 2021 reveals a large increase of 242% between the two years. The three municipal corporations reported 4,441 death registrations in April last year, while there were 10,750 registrations this year with the city facing an onslaught of the Covid-19 pandemic.
