As active Covid cases dip, Gzb set to ease restrictions

The Ghaziabad administration on Thursday held a meeting with RWAs and traders’ associations over gradual opening of commercial establishments in the city since active cases were expected to soon go below 600 — a benchmark set by the state government for relaxations. Traders demanded that the closing time of shops be extended by an hour from 7pm currently.
