Jhanvi Kukreja murder: Diya Padalkar gets bail

In a detailed order granting bail to 18-year-old Santacruz student Diya Padalkar, arrested in the New Year’s murder of her childhood friend, Jhanvi Kukreja, a sessions court observed that her mere presence at the spot of the incident and inability to explain her lip injury were not sufficient circumstances at this juncture to conclude that she committed the offence.
