Rain verdict: It’s capital punishment

Many of those frustrated by the misery on the rain-drenched streets on Tuesday would perhaps think the monsoon arrived in the city 16 days late but has already outlived its welcome. Delhi woke up to an early morning torrent — the second meteorologically ‘heavy’ precipitation of the season — that measured 100ml of rain till 8.30am at the Safdarjung weather station.
