School reopening: Rains, Covid fear hit attendance

Schools reopened in the capital on Wednesday after 17 months of Covid-forced closure. There was more enthusiasm among students of government institutions to return to classrooms and fewer private schools opened their gates. The heavy rainfall also affected attendance in the schools that reopened.
