Smoke without fire: AQI very poor in Delhi

After suffering “severe” pollution levels for the past three days, Delhi’s air quality improved to “very poor” on Monday even as experts cautioned against a “sigh of relief”. With an air quality index (AQI) of 389, on a scale of 0 to 500, the national capital was the third most polluted city in the country after Gurgaon and Motihari.
