68k fined for Covid violations till Dec 18

Amid growing cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19 in the city, authorities have intensified enforcement of Covid-appropriate behaviour and fined over 68,000 people this month till December 18, for violating norms such as wearing of masks, maintaining social distancing, etc., official data showed.
