Delhi: Covid cap sparks anger, 4 buses damaged
The anti-Covid stipulation that buses can only carry half its capacity of passengers led to skirmishes on Thursday and at least four buses were damaged by people who were denied entry into the vehicles in Sangam Vihar. Police received a call at 8.15am about a traffic blockading near Jamia Hamdard on Mehrauli-Badarpur Road. The cops reached the spot to find commuters sitting on the road and instigating others to do the same, their complaint being that the bus drivers and marshals were not allowing more than 17 passengers into the buses.
