Delhi: Metro minds gap inside, queues get longer outside

The recent implementation of the Yellow level of Covid Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) means Delhi Metro is now running at 50% seating capacity with no standing passenger. This has drastically reduced the number of passengers it can carry in each coach and led to serpentine queues outside its stations, prompting Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to reiterate Wednesday’s advisory for commuters on Thursday too — travel only if absolutely essential.
