Delhi: No Dec cheer as air worse than previous year

This December was more polluted than last year with an average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 336 compared with 332 in December 2020, Central Pollution Control Board data shows. The average AQI in December 2019 was 337. However, as the AQI trend in December over the past few years suggests minor variations, experts say efforts should be intensified to have more cleaner days in winter.
