Maha: MVA govt puts off speaker poll till Feb

Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said on Tuesday, “We decided to defer the (speaker’s) poll to give due respect to the Governor’s views and ensure there are no legal or constitutional hurdles,” said . He added that an MVA delegation would meet the Governor once again to resolve queries and misunderstandings. “Even the Lok Sabha follows open voting for the Speaker’s poll,” he pointed out.
