Delhi: Street crime dips, more snatchers in the net

Street crimes in the city dipped in 2021 with the police control room receiving 22,299 calls against 24,746 calls in 2020. These annual crime figures were released by police commissioner Rakesh Asthana on Thursday. According to the report, the arrest of snatchers went up 13% in 2021, with police nabbing 7,326 snatchers in 2021 against 6,496 the previous year.
