Delhi: Woman found dead in house at Burari

A 24-year-old woman is alleged to have been sexually assaulted and murdered by her friend’s husband in north Delhi’s Burari on Friday. Police said on Saturday they received a phone call from the woman’s friend, who claimed that when she reached her residence in Kaushik Enclave, she found the woman lying on the floor in a state of undress. Her husband, who is the prime suspect in the case, is absconding. Police said prima facie it appeared the woman was raped and then strangled.
