Standing instructions: Delhi Metro hopeful of easing of curbs

With most Covid-19 curbs now removed and offices and markets operating at full strength, Delhi Metro is witnessing a spurt in footfall despite a drastically reduced carrying capacity due to restrictions on standing passengers. The curb, however, is expected to be lifted by Delhi Disaster Management Authority, which is scheduled to meet on Friday.
