Landlord to get Delhi shop back after 48 years

It took the owner of a shop in Connaught Place, the capital’s main business district, nearly five decades of legal battle to get back possession of his premises sublet by the tenant to three doctors. The legal battle, which started in 1974, reached the finality with the Supreme Court directing that the possession of the shop be handed over to the landlord.
