Nirbhaya rerun: Case in SC, family waits for justice

Ten months before the Nirbhaya case seared the conscience of the country, a 19-year-old girl had been kidnapped from near her house in Qutub Vihar Phase-II close to Dwarka while on her way home after work. She was gang-raped, brutalised with car tools and earthenware shards and left to die in a mustard field in Haryana. Her mutilated and decomposed body was found three days later.
