State sop ‘neutralised’: CNG price up Rs 7/kg, piped cooking gas Rs 5/unit

Less than a week after the price of CNG was reduced by Rs 6 per kg across the Mumbai region, it will now be hiked by Rs 7 a kg on Wednesday morning. The price of cooking gas will also be hiked by Rs 5 per unit. This rate had also dipped by Rs 3.50 per unit five days back. This could come as a dampener for citizens and the public transport sector, said experts.
