Delhi: Yamuna levels drop, water scarcity worsens

Water scarcity in the national capital has aggravated due to a consistent drop in the Yamuna's levels at Wazirabad barrage, leading to a shortage of nearly 60 million gallons per day (MGD) at treatment plants that is affecting more than three lakh households, according to Delhi Jal Board (DJB) officials.
