Orange alert for rain, squall in Delhi today

Rain accompanied by squall at the speed of up to 60 kmph is likely on Monday with India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing an ‘orange’ (be prepared) alert. The maximum temperature on Sunday dipped to 39.3 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal, at Safdarjung which is the city’s base station.
