State again asks hospitals to ‘filter’ organ transplants

The state Directorate of Medical Education and Research has issued a fresh circular requiring hospitals to act as a filter to strengthen the hands of the state- or district-level authorisation committee in evaluating and deciding organ transplant proposals.
