Rain may bring relief in a few days in Delhi

Parts of Delhi witnessed ‘heatwave’ and ‘severe heatwave’ conditions on Sunday. However, there were no heatwave conditions at Safdarjung ,which is the city’s base station, but the maximum temperature rose from 43.9 degrees Celsius on Saturday to 44.2 degrees Celsius, four degrees above normal.
