Lieutenant governor VK Saxena 'advises' against Singapore 'mayors meet', Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal seeks MEA's nod

Hours after lieutenant governor VK Saxena "advised" chief minister Arvind Kejriwal against attending a summit in Singapore, saying it was a "conference of mayors not befitting attendance by a chief minister", the latter said on Thursday he would "go ahead" with the visit and asked officials to apply for political clearance from the Centre.
