Projects worth Rs 1.8k crore for cleaner Yamuna

Delhi Jal Board gave the go-ahead on Friday to a number of projects, collectively costing Rs 1,855 crore, which are expected to help clean the Yamuna. The projects include 185.5km of sewer lines connecting several villages and unauthorised colonies, 10 in situ sewage treatment systems, upgrade of six sewage treatment plants and development of 299 waterbodies and nine lakes.
