Maharashtra cabinet: BJP backs old guard, CM Eknath Shinde picks former ministers

Forty days after the Shinde-Fadnavis government was formed in Maharashtra, it finally expanded its cabinet by inducting 18 ministers: nine each from the BJP and the Shinde faction of the Shiv Sena. Cabinet portfolios are yet to be announced.
